How do we know Jesus' sacrifice is acceptable to God?

Answered in 1 source

Jesus' sacrifice is acceptable to God because it was offered in perfect obedience to His will.

Jesus came to this world with the singular purpose of fulfilling God's law through obedience (Hebrews 10:7). His life was characterized by perfect adherence to the Father's commands, culminating in the ultimate sacrifice at the cross. Because He lived a sinless life and obeyed the will of God completely, His sacrifice is the only one deemed acceptable to God. In contrast to human efforts to attain righteousness through works, Jesus' obedience renders His sacrifice sufficient, offering redemption that is not contingent upon our own flawed efforts. Thus, believers are to rest in the sufficiency of Christ’s obedience and sacrifice.
