How do we know Jesus' sacrifice makes us holy?

Answered in 1 source

We know Jesus' sacrifice makes us holy because His blood is the basis for our sanctification, as taught in the New Testament.

Jesus' sacrifice is foundational to our holiness because it accomplishes what no human effort can achieve: the removal of sin and the granting of righteousness. According to 2 Corinthians 5:21, Christ was made sin for us, allowing for the transference of guilt from us to Him, enabling our justification. The writer of Hebrews reaffirms this when he states that we are sanctified through Christ’s body offered once for all (Hebrews 10:10). This demonstrates the efficacy of His blood in making us holy, qualifying us as priests and allowing us access to God.
