How do we know justification is through Christ?

Answered in 1 source

Justification is achieved solely through Christ, as He is the only one who can declare sinners righteous in God's sight.

Justification is a crucial doctrine that defines how a sinner is made right before a holy God. Romans 5:1 states, 'Therefore, being justified by faith, we have peace with God through our Lord Jesus Christ.' The essence of justification lies in faith in Christ's righteousness, not our own. The Bible clearly teaches that it is through Christ's sacrificial death and resurrection that we are justified, as He fulfills the law's demands on our behalf. Therefore, the assurance of justification comes by being united with Christ through faith, which is a gift from God to those He has called.
