How do we know Mary is not a mediator in Christianity?

Answered in 1 source

Mary is not a mediator as she herself affirmed her lowly status and is never depicted as having special influence with Christ.

Scripturally, Mary does not present herself as a mediator between God and humans. In Luke 1:38, she refers to herself as a handmaid of the Lord. Furthermore, when Christ was told that His mother and brothers were outside seeking Him, He responded in Matthew 12:48-50, asserting that those who do the will of God are His true family. This indicates that no human being, including Mary, can claim a mediatorial role. The Bible emphasizes that Christ alone is the Mediator between God and men (1 Timothy 2:5).
