How do we know our cries for help are heard by God?

Answered in 1 source

We can trust that our cries for help are heard by God when they are made in faith through Jesus Christ, who intercedes for us.

Our assurance that God hears our cries for help lies in our faith in the Lord Jesus Christ. Just as Christ's own cries were heard by the Father due to His perfect obedience and faithfulness, our pleas are likewise accepted when we approach God through Him. The Sriptures affirm this connection, allowing us to approach the throne of grace in confidence, convinced that the Father answers our prayers for help—not because of our merit, but because of Christ's righteousness. Our desperate acknowledgment of our need for God leads us to rely on His grace, knowing that in Christ, our cries resonate with the divine promise of help.
