How do we know our faith in Jesus is true?

Our assurance of faith comes from understanding that it is God who gifts us faith through His righteousness. In 2 Peter 1:1, Peter notes that faith is obtained through the righteousness of Jesus Christ, which serves as the foundation of our belief and spiritual growth. Moreover, as believers, we experience the workings of the Holy Spirit, confirming our faith through personal transformation and the fruit that flows from a life that is rooted in Him. The indwelling of the Spirit assures us that we have a genuine relationship with the Father and enables us to live according to His will.
