How do we know our faith is sufficient according to the Bible?

Answered in 1 source

Our faith, even when weak, is sufficient as Jesus affirms the love of the Father for those who truly believe.

Jesus reassures His disciples in John 16:27 that the Father loves them because they love Him and have believed in His divine origin. This demonstrates that even a small measure of genuine faith is recognized and valued by God. The disciples’ faith may have been fragile, as evidenced by their impending doubt and fear, yet Jesus confirmed their belief as sufficient. This truth encourages believers today, reminding us that Christ does not reject those who come to Him with weak faith, but rather cherishes their sincerity. It’s this sincere faith, however weak, that unites us with Christ and assures us of the Father's love and acceptance.
