How do we know our good works matter?

Good works are essential as they are the visible outworking of the light of Christ in us.

The call to let our light shine is intrinsically linked to the expression of good works, which reflect the love and character of Christ. These actions serve not only as a testimony of faith but also as a means through which God is glorified. The Scriptures affirm that while we are saved by grace, our good deeds are the evidence of our faith (Ephesians 2:8-10). Therefore, they matter greatly in our Christian witness.
