How do we know our gospel is the true gospel?

Answered in 2 sources

The true gospel gives God all the glory, enables Him to be just and justifier, and is the only gospel that saves.

We can ascertain the authenticity of our gospel based on several criteria. Firstly, it gives all glory to God, affirming that salvation is entirely a work of His grace. Secondly, it provides the perfect justification of sinners, demonstrating how God can be just while declaring the guilty righteous through Christ's sacrifice (Romans 3:26). Furthermore, the true gospel indeed saves; it is effective in justifying, sanctifying, and preserving those whom God has called. Unlike any false teachings that offer only potential salvation, the true gospel is marked by God's definite action in securing salvation for His chosen ones (2 Timothy 1:9).
