How do we know our hearts are truly transformed?

Answered in 1 source

True heart transformation is evidenced by a life lived in faith and obedience to Christ (Galatians 2:20).

A genuine transformation of the heart is evidenced by the believer's faith and ongoing sanctification. According to Galatians 2:20, a transformed heart results in living by faith in the Son of God, which reflects the indwelling presence of Christ. This transformation is both subjective, concerning what takes place within, and objective, aligned with what Christ accomplished on behalf of His people. The presence of spiritual desires, such as a hunger and thirst for righteousness (Matthew 5:6), will be evident in a transformed heart, as will a mournful disposition towards sin and a growing desire to live for God's glory.
