How do we know our hope is good and grounded in grace?

Answered in 1 source

A good hope is defined by its basis in God's Word and the assurance it brings to our soul.

A good hope is one that is firmly grounded in the Scriptures and leads to real comfort and assurance in our lives. Romans 15:4 affirms that the Scriptures were written to give us hope, and this hope is not a mere wish but a solid foundation based on God's promises. Additionally, a living hope is characterized by a genuine experience of God's love and grace, as seen in Romans 6, where the Spirit of God sheds His love in our hearts. Therefore, if our hope is anchored in Christ and His Word, it is indeed a good hope filled with assurance and strength.
