How do we know our need for wisdom according to the Bible?

Our knowledge of our need for wisdom begins with an understanding of our fallen nature and sinfulness. This acknowledgment of our sin leads us to seek wisdom from God, as stated in James 1:5, where we are encouraged to ask God for wisdom.
