How do we know our prayers are answered by God?

Answered in 1 source

We know God answers our prayers by seeking Him earnestly and by perceiving His providence and peace in our circumstances.

David serves as an example of one who inquired of the Lord before making decisions. He sought God's guidance through prayer, reflecting a deep dependence on God's will. In Proverbs 3:5-6, the connection between trusting God and receiving direction is made clear. Additionally, God promises to answer those who earnestly seek Him, as seen in David's experience in 1 Samuel 23:4 when he prayed again and received confirmation from God. The assurance of our prayers being answered comes when we align our hearts with God's promises and stay attuned to His guidance.
