How do we know our prayers will be answered?

Answered in 3 sources

Our prayers will be answered when we abide in Christ and His words abide in us, aligning our wills with His.

The assurance of answered prayer is rooted in our relationship with Christ. In John 15:7, Jesus reveals a transformative truth that our requests can be granted when we live in accordance with His teachings. This means we must not only hear His words but allow them to shape our character and desires. The key lies in our obedience to His commands and the alignment of our will with His.

When we genuinely internalize Jesus' teachings, our prayers naturally reflect His will rather than merely our personal desires. It's a reciprocal relationship: as we engage with His truths and surrender our hearts to Him, we discover the profound ability to ask of Him and receive His faithful provision. Thus, the expectation of answered prayer is a natural consequence of abiding in Him and living out His Word in our daily lives.
