How do we know our profession of faith is genuine?

A genuine profession of faith is evidenced by the fruits we bear in our lives. In Hebrews 6:9-10, the Apostle Paul expresses confidence in the Hebrew believers by stating he is persuaded of better things that accompany their salvation. This indicates that true believers will demonstrate love and good works as an outflow of their faith. The fruits of the Spirit, such as kindness, joy, and peace, provide evidence of a transformed heart that is responsive to the grace of God. If our life reflects these fruits, it serves as assurance of our authentic relationship with Christ.
