How do we know our works for Christ will be rewarded?

Answered in 1 source

Our works for Christ will be rewarded because they are a result of God's grace, not our own efforts.

In 1 Corinthians 3:14, Paul assures us that if a man's work abides, it will be rewarded. This reward is based on the idea that sincere devotion and service to Christ, enabled by His grace, will endure the fiery trial. Thus, the ultimate reward is the glory of Christ's work in us, reinforcing that all glory belongs to Him because it is His grace that produces any good within us. Our striving for holiness and ministry flows from a heart transformed by grace.
