How do we know public worship is important?

Answered in 1 source

Public worship is vital as it amplifies God's glory, offers a greater manifestation of His presence, and is where believers gather to edify one another.

Public worship is critical because it provides a greater manifestation of God's presence than private worship. The collective singing and praising create an atmosphere where believers can encourage each other and experience God's presence in a unique way, as seen in Matthew 18:20. Furthermore, public worship is essential for spiritual nourishment as it allows for the preaching of the gospel and the teaching of the Word, designed for community growth and unity in faith (Ephesians 4:12). The church serves as the context within which believers can learn and grow in their faith together, solidifying their identity in Christ as they worship collectively.
