How do we know regeneration has occurred in someone's life?

The evidence of regeneration in a believer's life is primarily manifest through a genuine love for others. In John 13:35, Jesus teaches that the presence of love among believers is the hallmark of true discipleship. When a person's heart has been transformed by the grace of God, it results in a new nature that seeks to love and serve others selflessly. The Apostle Paul underscores this by stating that all spiritual gifts, deeds of sacrifice, and even miraculous acts are worthless without love (1 Corinthians 13:1-3). Therefore, the presence of true love is a reliable indicator that a person has been genuinely regenerated by the Holy Spirit.
