How do we know revival is necessary?

Answered in 2 sources

Revival is necessary because it addresses the spiritual deadness and corruption that arises when God's people stray from Him.

The need for revival stems from the inherent spiritual decay and apathy that can invade the hearts of believers. As seen throughout scripture, such as in Isaiah 63 and 64, the prophets acknowledge the desolation brought about by sin and the longing for God's intervention. When God’s people become complacent or turn to idolatry and wickedness, a desperate need arises for revival. It is a divine call for restoration back to a vibrant faith characterized by worship and obedience, emphasizing the necessity of acknowledging our sin and returning to God for mercy.
