How do we know righteousness is through Christ?

Answered in 1 source

Righteousness is through Christ alone, as He fulfilled the law and offers His obedience to believers.

According to the Bible, righteousness is not earned through personal merit but is provided by the faithfulness and obedience of Jesus Christ. In Philippians 3:9, Paul asserts that he desires to be found in Christ, not having a righteousness of his own derived from the law, but one through faith in Christ. This righteousness is fully imputed to believers as a gift of God's grace, highlighting that it's the obedience and sacrificial death of Christ that secures our standing before God. Hence, our righteousness is based on Him alone and received by faith, which validates the doctrine of justification by grace through faith.
