How do we know salvation comes through the gospel?

Answered in 1 source

Salvation is clearly defined as coming through faith in the gospel of Jesus Christ.

In Ephesians 1:13, the apostle Paul explains that salvation comes after hearing the word of truth, which is the gospel of salvation. This shows that there is a direct relationship between hearing the gospel and coming to faith in Christ. The message of the gospel is essential for effectively conveying the truth of Jesus Christ, and one cannot be saved without understanding and believing this message. Thus, it is clear that salvation is deeply rooted in the gospel's proclamation.
