How do we know salvation is a continual process?

Answered in 2 sources

Salvation is ongoing as believers experience daily struggles and continued reliance on God's grace throughout their lives.

While salvation is definitively secured through faith in Jesus Christ, it is also an ongoing process known as sanctification. As believers journey through life, they face continual warfare against the remaining presence of sin, often referred to metaphorically as giants. This struggle highlights the necessity for constant dependence on God's grace. Scriptures such as 2 Corinthians 1:10 affirm that God has delivered us in the past, is currently delivering us, and will deliver us in the future, illustrating that salvation is not confined to a single moment but is an enduring reality shaped by grace. The experience of ongoing challenges and victories reflects our reliance on Christ from beginning to end.
