How do we know salvation is assured for God's people?

Answered in 1 source

Salvation is assured because it is God's definite purpose and plan, as indicated in Romans 8:28-30.

The assurance of salvation for God's people is grounded in the unchanging promises and purposes of God. Romans 8:28-30 illustrates that those whom God foreknew, He also predestined to be conformed to the image of His Son. The process of salvation is a work of God from start to finish; it is not contingent on human actions but rather on God's grace and eternal decree. Thus, we know that His promise of salvation will be fulfilled in all whom He has chosen, and no one will be lost, as articulated in John 6 and Isaiah 45.
