How do we know salvation is entirely from God?

Answered in 3 sources

Salvation is solely the work of God, as He plans, executes, and applies it, leaving no room for human merit.

The entirety of salvation is God's work, from its planning in eternity past to its execution through Christ and its application by the Holy Spirit. Ephesians 2 clarifies that we are saved by grace, not by works, emphasizing that God chooses whom He will save, demonstrating His sovereign grace. No contribution can be made by mankind; rather, salvation is God's sovereign gift. Romans 8 explains that those whom God predestined, He called, justified, and glorified, underscoring that the process of salvation is firmly rooted in God's divine initiative.
