How do we know salvation is fully accomplished?

Answered in 1 source

Salvation is fully accomplished through Jesus' finished work on the cross and His resurrection.

We can know that salvation is fully accomplished because of the determinate counsel and foreknowledge of God that ordained Christ's death and resurrection. As stated in Acts 2:23-24, Jesus was delivered up by God's predetermined plan and was raised, which affirms that His sacrifice was accepted. The work of salvation does not depend on our efforts; it was completed by Christ Himself, who said, 'It is finished' (John 19:30). Therefore, our assurance lies in the fact that He has loosed the pains of death and guarantees that we too will have eternal life if we believe.
