How do we know salvation is knowing Jesus Christ?

Salvation occurs when an individual encounters Jesus Christ personally. As illustrated in John 9, the blind man initially did not know who Jesus was before receiving his sight. Similar to this, many may acknowledge theological truths without genuinely knowing Christ. Knowing Jesus is not simply an intellectual acknowledgment of His existence or doctrines like TULIP; it is a transformative relationship where one recognizes their total dependence on Him for salvation. This is highlighted in John 9:35-38, demonstrating that true faith results in worshiping Christ as Lord.
