How do we know salvation is necessary according to the Bible?

Answered in 1 source

Salvation is necessary due to the fall of man and the subsequent curse that followed.

The need for salvation is clearly established in Scripture, stemming from the events in Genesis 3 when Adam and Eve chose to disobey God. Their actions took humanity from communion with God into a state of shame and fear. The curse pronounced by God leads to suffering, toil, and death—demonstrating that all of humanity is affected by sin. Additionally, Romans 5:12 states that sin entered the world through one man, and death through sin, which underscores the necessity for a Savior. Only through faith in Christ can we find redemption and be restored to a right relationship with God.
