How do we know salvation is truly from the Lord?

Answered in 1 source

Salvation is from the Lord alone, as demonstrated through biblical narratives and the authority of Scripture.

The account of Naaman in 2 Kings 5 illustrates that healing—and by extension, salvation—comes directly from God through the obedience to His commands. Elisha instructed Naaman to wash in the Jordan River, demonstrating that mere actions have no power unless God wills it. Furthermore, as stated in Acts 4:12, 'There is no other name under heaven given among men by which we must be saved.' This affirms the sovereignty of God in salvation and reinforces that it is not through our own merits or works but solely through faith in Christ that we are saved, echoing the teachings in Ephesians 2:8-9.
