How do we know salvation is ultimately secure in Christ?

Answered in 1 source

Salvation is secure because Christ's atonement is definite and effectual for His elect.

The security of salvation is rooted in the nature of Christ’s atoning work. Unlike the notion that salvation is dependent on human choice, Scripture presents a God-centered view of redemption. Jesus stated emphatically that all the Father gives Him will come to Him, and He will cast out none. This guarantees that those chosen by God will securely rest in His grace and that the work of Christ will not fail. The assurance of salvation comes from understanding that it is not merely about human acceptance but about the power and purpose of God through Christ who saves completely and effectively.
