How do we know salvation produces good works?

Answered in 1 source

True salvation inevitably results in good works as evidence of faith.

In the context of salvation, it is crucial to understand that genuine faith produces fruit. As emphasized in John 15:4-5 and Galatians 5:22-23, believers who are truly in Christ will bear fruit through the Holy Spirit. Good works are not a prerequisite for salvation but rather a natural outcome of a heart transformed by grace. Paul highlights in 1 Thessalonians 1:3 that the work of faith, labor of love, and patience of hope are indicators of a true understanding and acceptance of God's grace. Therefore, while we are saved by grace alone, that grace will always produce a life marked by good works.
