How do we know that a minister's ministry is successful?

Answered in 1 source

A minister's ministry is deemed successful by their faithfulness to preach Christ, regardless of visible outcomes.

In 2 Corinthians 2:14, Paul expresses that a faithful ministry always triumphs in Christ, regardless of immediate results. Success is not determined by the conversion rates or congregational growth but by the minister's commitment to deliver God's Word. The gospel's power is in its truth, and it will accomplish God’s purpose (Isaiah 55:11). Therefore, even when a minister faces opposition or sees no visible fruit, as long as they are faithfully preaching Christ, they are successful in God’s eyes.
