How do we know that all men are spiritually dead in sins?

The Bible states that all men are spiritually dead due to Adam's sin, as indicated in Romans 5:12.

According to Romans 5:12, 'Wherefore, as by one man sin entered into the world, and death by sin; and so death passed upon all men, for that all have sinned.' This passage illustrates that spiritual death is inherited from Adam. The nature of every individual is fundamentally sinful from birth, making it impossible for anyone to achieve righteousness through their own efforts. As a result, all men require the Great Physician, Jesus Christ, who came to bring life and healing to those who are spiritually dead.
