How do we know that all races descended from Adam and Eve?

Answered in 1 source

The Bible clearly states that all of humanity descended from Adam and Eve, as they were the first created humans (Genesis 2:7).

The biblical narrative presents Adam and Eve as the first human beings created by God, from whom all of humanity descends (Genesis 2:7). Following their creation, the human population increased, but after the great flood, God's covenant with Noah reiterated that all of humanity descends from Noah and his family (Genesis 9:1-2). This theological framework emphasizes that despite the observable diversity among races today, all people are part of one human family, created in the image of God and bearing inherent dignity. Understanding this shared lineage fosters a sense of unity, as all humans bear the image of their Creator, and helps explain the biblical view against racism, as it asserts the equal worth and value of every individual, regardless of racial or ethnic differences.
