How do we know that all things are for the glory of God?

Answered in 1 source

The Bible reveals that all things exist and operate for God's glory, as seen in Proverbs 16:4.

Scripture repeatedly affirms that all things are ultimately created and sustained for the glory of God. Proverbs 16:4 states, 'The Lord hath made all things for Himself, yea, even the wicked for the day of evil.' This means that every event, every person, and every circumstance serves a purpose in glorifying God, even when it may not be apparent to us. God's sovereign purpose extends through time and history, orchestrating all events so that His name may be declared great among the nations. Through both hardship and triumph, God is making Himself known and glorious.
