How do we know that angels are interested in the gospel?

Answered in 1 source

Angels demonstrate their interest in the gospel by their active participation in announcing God's salvation and by their continual observation of God's work in the world.

The interest of angels in the gospel is clearly presented in Scripture. They are often depicted as ministering spirits who serve God's purpose in relation to humanity. In 1 Peter 1:12, it specifically states that angels desire to look into the things of salvation not for themselves but out of a genuine interest in the unfolding of God's plan. Moreover, they were present at pivotal moments in the biblical narrative, such as during the creation, the revelation of the law at Sinai (Psalm 68:17), and the incarnation of Christ. Their reactions to these events reveal a deep intrigue and admiration for God's mercy and grace towards humanity.
