How do we know that being born again is necessary?

Being born again is essential because, without it, one cannot discern spiritual truths or truly trust in God (John 3:3).

The necessity of being born again is rooted in Christ's declaration to Nicodemus that unless one is born again, they cannot see the kingdom of God (John 3:3). This spiritual rebirth is essential for understanding and believing the things of God, which are spiritually discerned. Without being transformed by the Holy Spirit, individuals remain unable to trust in the Lord fully or grasp the depth of His grace and truth.
