How do we know that being led by the Spirit is true?

The assurance of being led by the Spirit is rooted in the testimony of Scripture, especially in passages like Romans 8:14 where it says, 'For as many as are led by the Spirit of God, they are the sons of God.' This indicates that those truly led by the Spirit exhibit a belief in Christ, resulting in spiritual sonship. Thus, our assurance comes from faith in Christ coupled with the internal witness of the Holy Spirit.
