How do we know that believers are made holy?

Answered in 1 source

Believers are made holy through the atoning sacrifice of Jesus Christ and His blood.

The New Testament clearly states that all believers are made holy through the blood of Jesus Christ. In 2 Corinthians 5:21, it teaches that God made Jesus, who knew no sin, to be sin for us, enabling our sins to be transferred to Him. Furthermore, Hebrews 13:12 affirms that Jesus suffered outside the gate to sanctify His people with His blood, showing that it is His sacrifice that provides true holiness for believers. Therefore, any claim to holiness must be rooted in Christ's atoning work.
