How do we know that believers are made perfect?

Answered in 1 source

Believers are made perfect through the work of Christ, who justifies and sanctifies them, resulting in their perfection in glory.

The assurance of believers being made perfect comes from the redemptive work of Christ. In Hebrews 12:23, we see that our names are written in heaven, indicating our status as part of the church of the firstborn. Believers are justified through Christ's sacrifice, as stated in 1 Corinthians 6:11, where they are described as being washed, sanctified, and justified. This perfection will ultimately be realized in the resurrection when believers' bodies are transformed, making them fully conform to the image of Christ and free from sin.
