How do we know that believers are sanctified in Christ?

Answered in 1 source

Believers are sanctified in Christ as an accomplished reality, not a process.

Sanctification is often misunderstood as a progressive improvement in oneself, but 1 Corinthians 1:2 makes it clear that believers are sanctified in Christ Jesus. This sanctification is a definitive action of God; He has set us apart in Christ, and this act occurred before we even had awareness of it. This understanding challenges modern views that focus on gradual improvement and instead affirms the completed work of Christ in His people's lives, signifying their status as saints, distinctively chosen and redeemed.
