How do we know that believers do not need to fear the Day of Judgment?

Answered in 1 source

Believers in Christ are assured of their acceptance and forgiveness, freeing them from fear of judgment.

For believers, the Day of Judgment is not one of dread, but rather one of hope and anticipation. 1 Corinthians 4:3-5 expresses that the judgment of God will set all things in order, and for those washed in Christ’s blood, there is a promise of safety; they have nothing to fear. The righteous judgment of God reveals that for those in Christ, their sins do not exist—they have been erased completely from God's record. Therefore, believers can face this day joyfully, knowing they are hidden in the righteousness of Christ and will be accepted.
