How do we know that believers will experience no pain in the New Jerusalem?

Answered in 1 source

Believers will experience no pain in the New Jerusalem because God will wipe away every tear and remove all causes of suffering.

In Revelation 21:4, God promises that there will be no more death, sorrow, or pain in the New Jerusalem, for the former things have passed away. This assurance is rooted in God's sovereignty and faithfulness; He has the power to eliminate everything that brings suffering due to sin. Consequently, believers can look forward to an existence that is completely free from the effects of sin, wherein they experience uninterrupted joy and perfect fellowship with God. This promise is central to the Christian faith, encouraging believers to endure present trials with the hope of future glory.
