How do we know that believers will never die?

The assurance of eternal life for believers is fundamentally grounded in the person and work of Jesus Christ. He declares Himself as 'the resurrection and the life' in John 11:25-26, emphasizing that faith in Him results in everlasting life, even if one physically dies. This is not merely a metaphor but a divine promise. When a believer dies, their soul is immediately in the presence of the Lord, signifying that death has no ultimate power over them. The Apostle Paul echoes this in Romans 8:38-39, proclaiming that nothing can separate us from the love of God, including death. Therefore, believers can confidently trust in this promise.
