How do we know that Christ alone is our righteousness?

Answered in 1 source

Christ is our righteousness because the Bible teaches that He fulfilled the law perfectly and His righteousness is imputed to believers.

In Romans 10, Paul explains that Christ is the end of the law for righteousness to everyone who believes. Our own efforts to establish righteousness before God are useless; instead, it is the imputed righteousness of Christ that justifies us before His holy presence. This is further supported by the necessity of a perfect substitute, which Christ uniquely provides. He fulfilled the requirements of the law and offered Himself as a sacrifice for sin, thereby securing righteousness for those of us who believe in Him. This truth emphasizes the core of Reformed theology, where righteousness is not achieved but received freely by grace through faith in Christ.
