How do we know that Christ can make us perfect?

Answered in 1 source

Scripture affirms that Christ's sacrifice has perfected His people forever, unlike the law, which cannot make anyone perfect.

Hebrews 10:14 states, 'For by one offering, he hath perfected forever them that are sanctified.' This underscores the fact that Christ's single sacrifice is sufficient to make His people perfect, as it fully satisfies God's justice. Unlike the law, which serves only to remind us of our imperfections and guilt, Christ's work not only forgives our sins but makes us righteous in Him. Therefore, believers are accepted by God because of Christ's perfection, which He bestows upon all who trust in Him.
