How do we know that Christ can save us?

Answered in 1 source

We know Christ can save us because He alone fulfilled the requirements of God’s justice and secured eternal salvation for His elect.

The assurance of salvation through Christ lies in His perfect work of redemption, which fulfills all divine requirements. As per Hebrews 9:12, Christ's sacrificial death effectively obtained eternal salvation for His people. Unlike false Christs who offer vain hope, the true Christ doesn’t merely make salvation possible; He secures it for His chosen ones. Romans 8:34 affirms His power to ensure the salvation of those for whom He died. The Scriptures assure us that His work is not in vain; all for whom He died shall be saved, demonstrating His efficacy as a Savior.
