How do we know that Christ can truly save?

Answered in 1 source

Christ saves by His power and authority over sin and Satan, proving it through His miracles.

In the account of Jesus healing the man possessed by a devil in Matthew 12:22-28, we see His authority over the spiritual realm as He casts out demons with just a word. This act demonstrates that He is the stronger man capable of binding Satan and delivering those captive to sin. Jesus affirms that His miracles, done by the Spirit of God, are evidence of His messianic identity and His power to save. Therefore, the ability of Christ to save is grounded not only in His miraculous works but in His divine nature and authority as the Son of God, who is able to redeem fully those who come to Him.
