How do we know that Christ delivers us from sin?

The sermon emphasizes that Jesus Christ, as the valiant Savior, enters the stronghold of sin and death to rescue His people. Just as Saul’s body was pulled down from the wall of Bethshan, buried, and his sin forgotten, so too does Christ take our sins upon Himself and allows them to be buried in His sacrifice.
