How do we know that Christ fulfills the role of the Peace Offering?

Answered in 1 source

Christ is the ultimate Peace Offering, providing reconciliation through His perfect and sinless sacrifice.

The New Testament reveals Christ as the fulfillment of the Peace Offering in Leviticus by demonstrating that He, being without sin, offers Himself as a sacrifice to restore the relationship between God and humanity. Just as the Peace Offering involved presenting a faultless animal, Jesus is described as the sinless Lamb of God who takes away the sin of the world (John 1:29). His sacrificial death symbolizes completeness in securing peace and enabling believers to draw near to God without fear of condemnation.
