How do we know that Christ gets all the glory?

Answered in 1 source

We know Christ gets all the glory because He finished the work of salvation, as stated in John 17:4.

The assurance that Christ receives all glory is rooted in scripture. Jesus stated, 'I have glorified thee on the earth; I have finished the work which thou gavest me to do' (John 17:4). This underscores that Jesus completed all aspects of redemption, leaving nothing for mankind to contribute. The Father glorified the Son through His work, and hence, no part of salvation can be attributed to human effort without robbing Christ of His rightful glory. Our acknowledgment of His finish work is essential to understanding why He alone deserves all honor.
